Why would the coast guard let this occur? Why aren't his peers holding him accountable? This is wrong. Thank you for bringing this to the peoples attention. Power in the People and Power in Knowledge.

Coast Guard doesn't follow UCMJ laws. They get to follow Military Justice Laws. Basically they get to pick and choose what UCMJ laws they like and apply them when needed. We have 2 militaries. Homeland security and Department of Defense. 2 seperate entities . Who the hell knows why

Actually, while the Coast Guard reports to the Department of Homeland Security, the Coast Guard does fall under Uniform Code of Military Justice. All of it. There's no picking and choosing. The Coast Guard is a branch of the military and members are covered by the UCMJ.
